Guidelines for responsible use of Kaarma Cloud services. Please read carefully to ensure compliance.
Overview
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs your use of all services provided by Kaarma Cloud. It is designed to protect our infrastructure, our customers, and the broader internet community. By using our services, you agree to comply with this policy.
Violation of this AUP may result in suspension or termination of your services without refund. We reserve the right to modify this policy at any time.
Prohibited Activities
The following activities are strictly prohibited on our network:
- Illegal Activity: Any activity that violates local, national, or international law.
- Spamming: Sending unsolicited bulk emails, messages, or any form of spam.
- Phishing: Attempting to fraudulently obtain personal information or credentials.
- Malware Distribution: Hosting, distributing, or creating malicious software.
- Copyright Infringement: Hosting pirated content, warez, or any copyrighted material without authorization.
- Child Exploitation: Any content involving minors in an inappropriate or illegal context. This is a zero-tolerance policy.
Resource Usage
Our services are designed for fair and reasonable use. The following restrictions apply:
- Cryptocurrency Mining: Mining of any cryptocurrency (Bitcoin, Ethereum, Monero, etc.) is strictly prohibited on all services unless explicitly permitted in your plan.
- Excessive Resource Consumption: Running processes that negatively impact other users on shared infrastructure.
- Abusive Usage: Excessive or abusive resource usage that impacts node stability is prohibited and may result in throttling or service migration.
- Torrent Seeding: Using our network for public torrent seeding or peer-to-peer file sharing of copyrighted content.
Network Security
You must not engage in any activity that threatens the security or integrity of our network or others:
- DDoS Attacks: Initiating, participating in, or facilitating Distributed Denial of Service attacks from or towards our network.
- IP Spoofing: Forging TCP/IP packet headers or any part of the header information.
- Port Scanning: Unauthorized scanning of ports or networks to identify vulnerabilities.
- Hacking: Attempting unauthorized access to systems, accounts, or data.
Content Standards
You are responsible for all content hosted on your services. Prohibited content includes:
- Content that promotes violence, hatred, or discrimination.
- Gambling websites operating without proper licensing.
- Fraudulent or deceptive websites (e.g., fake e-commerce stores).
Enforcement
Consequences of Violation
Violations of this AUP may result in:
- A formal warning.
- Temporary suspension of services.
- Permanent termination of your account without refund.
- Reporting to relevant law enforcement authorities.
